As a parent, I always wanted to be involved in my children's lives. When my boys left for school each day, I wondered what they were doing, what they were learning, what books they read that day, what songs they were learning, etc. When they came home from school in the afternoon, I was excited to see them and anxious to hear about their day. When I asked, "What did you do at school today? What did you learn?" The answer was usually, "Nothing!" I have a feeling that many of you hear the same responses every day.
The goal of this blog is to keep you informed and share the special activities that you many never know about. Hopefully, this information will be a conversation-starter with your child; it will give you an idea of questions to ask so you can stay involved and informed.
As the year goes on I hope to get the students involved in helping with this blog as a means of reflection and review!
